Holy Thursday

1. POPE RELEASES ENCYCLICAL ON THE HOLY EUCHARIST
Today is Holy Thursday, the beginning of the Sacred Triduum -- the three days during which Catholics mark the passion, death and resurrection of Our Lord. On this fitting occasion Pope John Paul II has issued "Ecclesia de Eucharistia", an outstanding new encyclical on the Holy Eucharist. Read it now here.

2. NEW AFFILIATE PROGRAM FOR CATHOLIC WEBMASTERS
The new Catholic Freebies Affiliate Program is one of the best affiliate programs available for Catholic websites, newsletters and blogs. It's easy: just add a simple line of HTML code to your web page, and you'll get paid as much as 5 cents for each visitor that comes from your site to Catholic Freebies. Get details here.

3. EVER THOUGHT OF STARTING A CATHOLIC RADIO STATION?
You may have heard of the amazing growth of Catholic radio in the United States -- from 7 stations to nearly 50 in just seven years. And it's only just beginning. Catholic radio needs pioneers, and plenty of them. You don't need to be rich, but you do need to have radio expertise. That's where Avila Radio comes in. If you're even only mildly interested, I urge you to visit Avila Radio's website and order "The Mission of Catholic Radio". If you're really serious about it, they also offer "Evangelize", a complete how-to guide that makes setting up your radio station simple and straightforward. For more information go here.

4. THE TOP 50 LIST OF CATHOLIC WEBSITES
Television has the Nielsen ratings, and music has the Billboard charts. Now, thanks to data from Alexa.com, the Catholic Internet has the New Advent list of Top 50 websites. They're not necessarily the best Catholic websites out there, but they're the most popular. When you get a chance, take a look at the rankings. Some of the entries on the list may surprise you. To see the Top 50 list, go here.

5. HAVE YOU TRIED CATHOLIC WORLD NEWS?
If you haven't, go there now. In the past few months, they've rolled out new features and a new website to make it easier for Catholics to be well informed about the world around them. I especially like the Headline Digest, which collects the best news links from around the Internet every day. It's not just Catholic news, but all kinds of international, national, sports and cultural news. Try it out now here.
