Your ears can actually hear the difference between hot and cold water


Hot and cold water sound different when you pour them, and you've probably known this all your life without even realizing it.

    Without realizing it? Not unless you're just not paying attention. Think back to when you were very small, perhaps even before kindergarten, when you listened to hot and cold water running in the sink. Are you SURE you didn't notice the difference? I know I sure did, and it's never ceased to amaze me how different the two sound. ;D
