Pope Francis: “The deacon is not for the altar, but for service”

    I think he is dead wrong. There are specific liturgical roles for which the deacon is the primary operator.

    Then the converse must be true, that the priest is for the Altar and not for social work. so maybe they can get back into the confessional where they're supposed to be.
