I am grateful to Papa Francis for introducing our new pope to the world. I have read Papa Francis took notice of Cardinal Provest and was keeping an eye on him as he was promoted (by Papa Francis) for many important tasks within the Church. That alone tells me Papa Francis trusted him. Who's to say that Papa Francis didn't suspect great blessings for then Cardinal Provest? Our Lord works in mysterious ways! May our Lady and St. Joseph protect and accompany Papa Leo XIV wherever he goes in this grand world of ours proclaiming Christ Crucified! Amen
