  1. If the "change" in the curia brings in more of the same except from different parts of the world; that will be no difference, no improvement. I believe what the next pope needs to do is get everything out in the open by bringing in the so called disadents and publicly asking them specific questions that have only two possible direct answers. The Church's and he devil's. Those who have not accepted the Church's teachings on abortion, homosexuality, the real presence etc will retire before they are forced to answer the questions they can effectively evade when the laity ask the questions. If the new pope extends this to public meetings with the leaders of other faiths, hopefully progress will be made in bringing all into the church. Will the new pope believe that if we ask the right questions, supported with the verifiable evidece, will he believe that God's answer to those questions will lead people to the Catholic Faith? If he does not believe that, maybe he should not be pope?

  2. I am sure the College of Cardinals under the guidance of the Holy Spirit will be able to give the world a dynamic Pope, one who resembles the heart of Christ, cleanses the ill-becoming politics and 'unholy' things across the Curia and some parts of the Church, that he be an administrator, that he be a Conservative to the Truths [Truth does not change], that he sends several missionary expeditions, that he be a person who concentrates on the Church in Asia, Africa, South America and shepherds the Church in other parts as well....

and finally that He leads the Church and the world to become 'radical witnesses to Christ and His Gospel', and only that is necessary above all, and in which all the other is implied and get culminated. Spirit Lord, give us that Human Person who represents for us Christ, our Lord here on earth to lead the Church and that the Church continues to be 'Light to the World.'

  3. The Church, as you know, has gone through many challenges and all seemed that it might end. But the Holy Spirit prevailed as Christ promised. The goings on is nothing more than the gates of Hell. Be not afraid!

  4. I am sure that PB16 will transition out & inform the new Pope of the details of "cleaning house" that need to be completed. In the corporate world if a person does not embrace the companies corporate values they will be dismissed. It is even more truthfully so "supposed" to be in the Church that Jesus Christ Himself founded. We are either with Him or against Him.
